Signal Yacht · British Columbia

Stay connected anywhere the water takes you.

Turnkey Starlink installation for yachts — surveyed at your moorage, mounted clean, wired properly, and supported all season. By someone who spent ten years building the towers your signal comes from.

The problem

Cell coverage ends where the cruising begins.

Cell coverage ends where the cruising begins. Desolation Sound. The Discovery Islands. The outer Gulf Islands — the places worth going are the places your phone gives up.

The workarounds are always the same: the booster that can't invent signal, the marina wifi that dies at 7pm when everyone logs on. The fix isn't another gadget. It's a proper dish, mounted where the physics works, wired into your boat's power like it belongs there.

How it works

No sales process. Just the job.

We talk first

Your boat, your cruising plans, what "connected" has to mean. Then an honest answer about what's achievable — including the times it's "you don't need me." Happens more than you'd think.

I come to the boat

Signal surveyed where she sits. The right dish — Mini or Standard, picked for your power budget, not my margin. Mounted clean, 316 stainless, cables run like they belong there.

Then I stick around

New anchorage, new device, a question at 9pm before a crossing — you call, I answer. Spring recommission included. That's the whole point of a one-man operation: there's nobody to vanish.

Why Signal Yacht

Built by someone who built the towers.

Above the clouds on a tower — the office for ten years
The office for ten years. Signal looks different from up here — you learn where it lives.

A decade building the wireless infrastructure this coast runs on — including tower work for the Coast Guard. The towers your signal comes from — I built those. Now I bring that same standard to one vessel at a time.

Signal Yacht is a private marine practice — one operator, island-based. When I survey your vessel, you're getting an engineer's eye, not a sales script. If your anchorage doesn't need what you're asking for, I'll tell you. I'd rather lose the job than install the wrong thing.

Your next crossing, connected.
